This government have brought in tax cuts that aren't needed.
We're not resourcing public services.
Lots of people might be very happy about tax cuts.
They may be.
They may be.
But will it actually improve our health service?
Will it improve our housing crisis?
Will it improve the provision of education services?
No.
So this is like, tough choices need to be made here.
Hard choices need to be made.
And there's too much of our corporation taxes concentrated in three companies.
American multinationals.
And what I think they're saying is that there's too much of a concentration in a highly volatile part of economy, American multinationals, and that we need to diversify.
And this government, successive governments, Pascal Dunne, who'll be Minister of Finance for the majority of that,
has gone off to a wonderful job in Washington, fair play to him, but he never diversified the economy enough in terms of our corporation tax intake.
Yeah, it's not unexpected, but it's an answer to a question no one was asking.
No one was asking for the game to be moved.
People are asking for the game not to go ahead.
Football people are driving this.
