And yes, Megyn Kelly has sort of become a troll, and as someone who covers the media industry, it's been a pretty remarkable fall from grace, or at least from the cover of Vanity Fair.
But I think what you see here is how do you take, again, it's this sort of intellectual inconsistency that I talk about, the same thing with Hannity and how you treat the first debate and the second debate.
Your feelings about Taylor Swift on the conservative side would have been a lot different if that hoax suggesting that Taylor Swift had actually endorsed Donald Trump was real.
But you want to turn this into an issue and you want to hate on Taylor Swift.
That's going to be a really big uphill battle because, yes, we can question celebrity endorsements.
Taylor Swift has a massive following and she has a massive following of voters who might not be registered or might not feeling like they want to turn out.
And that turnout is going to be crucial.

It is this reactive, reflexive, defensive posture that is loud on whining and shouting and, in that case, F-bombs.
But it is short on any sort of message that is actually going to help their effort over the course of the next 56 days.

One way she responded to that question about the racism is she tied it into a broader history of Trump's racism, going back to not letting Blacks get housing in New York, the Central Park Five, the birtherism, all of these things that we're all very familiar with, but that younger voters or more disengaged voters might have forgotten about when it came.

There was a very commendable strategic effort to take these specific things and to tie them into this broader narrative about who Trump is and put that front and center.
