I know two games doesn't sound like a ton, but you know, with how crammed the schedule was last year and and uh you know, some parts of it are this year, I think it's just gonna be a different uh you know, a different style of of game a lot of the time.
Especially like I think we have one month where we have
sixteen or seventeen games in I think it's um I think it's January and and you know that's a lot of that's a lot of hockey in a in a in a month.
So um you know I think you know being around for a while, just you know kinda learning how your body you know works on back to backs and know what you got to do to be successful for the next game and the next day and um I think our team does a really or our coaching staff does a really, really good job of like preparing us for you know each game no matter when the you know m no matter who it's against no matter if it's afternoon
game, night game, um, you know, whatever it is, I think we're we're really detailed and and uh dialed into to the process of what we have to do to be successful and um I think we just caught fire a little too late last year.
Like we we finished the season on a really, really good run of of playing some great hockey and it was unfortunate that we didn't have you know two or three more regular season games which which we do now this year.
So we'll see what happens but I'm I'm pretty confident our team that is gonna be uh you know firing a lot of the year on on all cylinders on off
fence and and um no it's gonna be fun.
Yeah, very impressed.
Um, you know, you don't see many, you know, kids, I guess I can say that now many kids come in with uh you know, with that kind of like aura, I guess, that he had walking into the dressing room.
Um just kind of the way he danced on the ice, like he um definitely felt like he deserved and and belonged to be there and and you can see it on his play, like he was making moves at the blue line when he was the last guy back.
He was um no carrying the puck up on the ice in the power play, like kind of you know
avoiding the draw pass at some times, which seems like every team does, and and just kind of carrying it in himself.
Um so I think you know his game is only gonna um continue to grow and and obviously he's still really young and only played I think it was 14 games um last year.
So very excited to see what he's got to to offer this year.
He's uh incredible talent.
I know him and his brothers um you know all of them work extremely hard in the offseason and um you know they they work on their craft like like maybe more than anyone else in the whole
league th those are the guys.
So um it's a credit to them and a credit to their family on on how hard they work.
So um exciting exciting times ahead for sure.
