Yeah, I th I think we're gonna be a a really dangerous team.
We got, you know, twelve or thirteen or even fourteen like really good forwards that um I've never been a part of a of a team that's, you know, kinda looked like this on paper to to start the season.
So, um obviously it's gonna be a a little bit different with coming in with high expectations.
Like uh my my previous four years in Washington there there hasn't been um, you know, a ton of expectations like at least heading into the season.
And um, you know, two years ago we had an uh outstanding
regular season and then got um you know kind of stopped by Carolina in the playoffs there.
So I think um just building on a little bit of that experience and and uh like I said a a little bit different expectations this year of obviously um you know we're there's so there's lots of talk about us and our team a around the league and and on social media and stuff.
So uh the management's done their job and now it's on the players to to go prove uh you know why people are talking about us and I think um we got a a lot of really good players a lot of high end off
offensive talent that um I don't think goals uh goals are gonna be our problem this year.
So it's um it's gonna be fun to be a part of.
It's gonna be, you know, high flying offense and I think Carbs is gonna have us uh dialed in on on on the details on the defensive side and um it's a lot to look forward to for sure.
Yeah, I think it's just you know, last year at one point in the season I think we were like seventeen nine and two, uh whatever however many games that is into the season twenty eight games into the season and and first place in the division.
Um things were looking great and then we just went on a a bad stretch in in kind of like l late November, like throughout December and then kind of led into January and and just we we put ourselves too far behind the eight ball and um no, I think definitely with uh you know the kind of the guys we added, I think there's gonna be some more
consistency um throughout the lineup and and maybe you know some of those games in in the dog days of you know December, January, February when um you know when your team kinda can't find anything.
I think we're gonna have those those type of game breakers that um are getting paid a lot of money to to score goals and to you know kinda create things on their own.
And I think um you know I think we we were a team last year where we needed kind of everyone to be you know kind of firing on all cylinders to to be successful and um it seems like this year
I think, um, like I said, kind of in those dog days, in those tough games, um, you know, when you're playing on a back to back or whatever it may be with um we got some really, really good players that can kind of, you know, explode for uh you know, a big night that can kinda lead your team to victory um, you know, throughout the season.
I think just not having those like long lulls of the season or long stretches of the season where your you know, your team's not playing well, um I think that's gonna that's gonna bode well really well for us.
Yeah, it's um you know, I I think if you ask like majority of the NHL players, I I would say that everyone thinks it's a good thing, like more jobs for for more players and and more guys.
I think um i it's gonna be definitely a different season.
