So uh I I will certainly uh want to see us proceed with a curfew.
Um
I will say that uh some of this comes down to how you imagine it's going to work.
And I believe that some people are painting a criminalized and they're they're painting uh a a really difficult picture.
In practice, what I imagine happens here is that young people kind of go about their business.
They probably fall under some of these exceptions.
Uh, they're not going to be accosted and stopped on the street.
Because they will be kind of presumed to be out uh legitimately.
You can't judge a person's age just by looking at them.
And so not only do you not have the resources, I just don't think it's your intent to go around and challenge every individual.
And I'm willing personally to trust that.
So uh
That means that uh on the other hand, when you see something that your officers recognize
as being something dangerous that could be taking shape.
And they want to go up and do something about it.
They've got they can't just walk up to those kids and say, Guys, you know, please go home, and the kids just stick their tongue out, right?
And so I envision this as a way of the officers, if necessary.
uh requiring somebody who isn't cooperative uh by version of the ordinance to go home or or to leave.
And
Then I uh so that's kind of a a question of how you expect it will work and
