He had a string of civil suits placed against him from 2010 to 2021 with multiple women he raped having to be rushed to the emergency room.

He was caught in the act by another guard, and one of the victims that reported him was thrown in solitary confinement for her own protection.

Highsmith, being the total psychopath that he is, then requested to work the isolation unit where she was being held in hopes to intimidate her into dropping the charges.

Eventually, he was suspended for 10 days and then moved to a different federal prison in Mississippi called FCC Yazoo City.

He was then given a promotion, an admin job.

Part of his new cushy job there was ensuring that complaints and grievances filed by staff and inmates against guards were thoroughly investigated.

Finally, in 2021, his crimes caught up with him and he was indicted on three counts of rape against inmates.

Each count held a maximum sentence of 15 years.

In the end, he was only convicted on one count because the evidence was so overwhelming they couldn't sweep it under the rug.

They had prisoner complaints, guard witnesses, and video footage.

He was given 48 months and should be getting released soon.

Please do not confuse him with smooth jazz saxophonist Jimmy Highsmith Jr., who is doing everything he can with his groovalicious sax riffs to make consensual sex all that much more enjoyable for all of us.
