This is where the psychological cracks can start to show, isn't it?

And that's why I think this run of races is going to be really decisive because it will just swing, that competitive sense of gravity within a team.

And just because whichever driver is better is the one that the team will galvanise around.

Because people always kind of think that it comes from the way the team works.

Red Bull didn't galvanise around Max Verstappen because they wanted to.

They galvanised around him because he's absolutely outstanding and therefore they naturally did and they wanted to.

These things aren't preordained.

If Kimi Antonelli just suddenly slumped and is rubbish for the next 20 races, then it'll sort of turn against him.

That's just what happens.

And so I always say it is the stopwatch, isn't it, that decides.

Yeah, and he is still the driver with the more experience.

He's operating at a very high level.

I, too, would expect him to kind of get back on top.

Doesn't mean he necessarily will.

But if you look at these last three races, there were reasons in China.

John weren't there.

There were reasons in Japan.
