And uh they kind of the great thing with Adams clubs.
they had these kind of hybrid clubs, did they not?
Um I had this great little Adams two iron and I I hit that off the T and I played it as a three shotter that day.
And I hit a lovely wedge to about eight foot and I got onto that green and I was
I was fing petrified and I left it short.
I left my putt short.
And I I still finished sixth.
It would have been a putt to finish fourth.
But given it was my rookie year, you know, huge result that effectively got me my card, you know, that was I wasn't so much thinking about trying to make Eagle and get into a playoff at that point, to be honest.
And I was in a slightly different position to Manuel Elvira, of course.
But
I recognized the pressure and the nerves that he would have been feeling on that last screen.
And of course he missed that short four foot putt.
His hands just wouldn't have felt his own on that.
And and you could just see every single shot once he laid up in the in the bunker.
It was like, you know, to your point rabbit and the headlights.
It's then just a
Unraveling and it and and to you know, you ask the question, what's he trying to do when he's in that bunker?
I thought it was a great achievement just to clear the hazard because yeah it's so difficult not to fat uh a gap wedge out of the bunker.
You know, invariably that's what most guys do.
