Because to me, I thought it was really impressive.
I thought it was at the Players' Championship.
And I thought it was at the Valspar as well.
But to me, just that sort of outside kind of thing, over and above, or not over and above, but outside his actual golf game, which is magnificent, there is a confidence in the way that he goes about everything.
Well, he does look... Yeah, no, great.
But didn't get into the Masters field this year, did he?
Well, has he put water on them or has he put petrol on them?
In as much as he said we're funded through 2026 and our 2026 season continues unaltered and full throttle and there was nothing to say โ
that beyond that, the funding is in place.
And that is in contrast to what was being said to the players in South Africa, as I understand it, that the funding was in place till 2032.
That line was coming out in Augusta the week before last as well.
So I think that really lends credence to the story that came out from the MondayQ website and the Financial Times last week that really gave this tale some impetus.
I got into quite an argument with another golf journalist about this who was having a real go at Arlo White for his interview in the company of David Feherty with Scott O'Neill and saying, you know,
um fast timers out there and uh fast time of you know our demise of greatly exaggerated and and didn't ask you know just genuinely did not ask the question of scott o'neill and my point in defense of arlo was arlo's there to work for live arlo's there to do
what Liv wants him to do.
And whereas Ollie Wilson was out there for TNT and he interviewed Scott O'Neill and quite rightly asked him about the source of funding going forward and got the answer that yielded
real doubt over whether there was going to be any more Saudi Arabian money coming in after 2026.
And him saying, we're like any other business.
