scottish open crowds can be down because people are saving up to go to the open the week after and you're right they can't keep going week after week after week so i tuned i tuned in a little bit found it incredibly boring uh and that's in spite of quite admiring nelly quarter's golf swing i think there was a lady called yoon in fourth place she had a magnificent swing loved watching yeah fantastic swing um i thought the standard of golf was very good but it none it just was so interminably boring and tough to watch and um and i found myself switching off
Two minutes after switching on.
So, yeah, tough, tough, I'm afraid.
And just to pick up, I mean, Charlie Hull made some comments earlier on in the week about the artistry, the lack of in the game.
And unfortunately for her, she's playing a major on a golf course where...
And so it must have frustrated the life out of Charlie Hull.
And she's the kind of character that should be driving a bit more of the say about where we go, because I think she's got a finger on the pulse.
Can I just say that the most unfortunate thing that I find with this...
This tends to happen quite regularly in the women's game, certainly more so than it happens in the men's.
And that could be a reflection of our own biases or it could be a reflection of what I'm about to say.
And that is that the courses do not do Nelly Corder justice.
We should be talking about her performance because ordinarily in the men's game, if somebody was to win by six.
That's all we would be talking about.
And it's doing her and people like her a great disservice.
And so the powers that be do need to address it, I think, and go to venues that we find more enthralling.
And when a storyline like this emerges, we can get on board with and just talk about the brilliance of the golf on show.
Eddie why don't you smile Eddie's putting his hand up here to speak so brace yourself no I was going to say that I think Ian was considering jumping in the pond at Sunningdale on the 5th actually with his gloves on his back I had nothing else to do on that hole I'd blown it by then
