And it was nearly on the 11th hour before he gave up that right.

And I had been in contact regularly with the mortuary staff and one's condition was deteriorating.

I had made a call to Kathleen to tell her that Owen and Rory would not be able to lie in the bed the way she wanted them.

I told her that they could go on the bed, but they'd have to go on the opposite side.

That phone call didn't come until about four o'clock.

I found myself leaving Fenna, where I live, heading to Castlebar, arrived in Castlebar, kind of just coinciding with the 9 o'clock news.

And needless to say, the cameras were all there waiting for us.

And I would always have a great time for Pat McGrath.

He was part of the RT correspondent.

And I made a deal with him that if he got to see the horse coming out, that he'd leave me alone for the night, that I could get the lads home

I knew myself I had a full 24 hours work ahead of me to get them back.

So we came out past the cameras and we were left alone until we got them back to their home in Badenkillen.

There was a massive festival in Castle Rea and we just got slightly held up in that coming home.

And one particular person asked, was that the two lads?

And I said it was.

And suddenly the streets just opened up and away with us again.

I remember every last minute of it, bringing the lads back to the house in the morning time.

We went back.

I walked right through the night.

I didn't take any break whatsoever.
