And they were initially looking for a salesperson.

And that salesperson taught them that, look, if you don't have someone in customer success that speaks French, then don't even bother.

Don't even bother selling at all because they're going to expect you to do the onboarding in French.

They're not going to be happy if you do the onboarding in English.

So it's a huge bonus to have several languages if you can speak to them fluently.

And at the end of the day, whether you agree with it or not, talking about salaries, it's all about supply and demand.

If there's a short supply for that, you know, it's shorter than the demand, then the salaries will rise.

And if it's the opposite, the opposite will happen.

But yeah, for customer success, the most important thing is empathy, understanding hospitality.

So if you're someone at the front desk who has been through an opening or that has experienced a migration to a different system, this experience puts you in a really good position to get a customer success role.

good question any of the ai engineering roles because if you if you understand if you have skills in ai and engineering you are needed across several industries so it's not just wholesale tech that's competing for you it's the other industries and sometimes the other industries have a bigger budget however i think what

what would excite someone in, in engineering, um, with AI is, is that you can make some huge changes in hospitality.

There are so many cool opportunities out there.

And it's kind of like solving a, a Rubik's cube because, you know,

Hotel systems can be quite complex, so it can be something really fun to go into.

There's so many stakeholders involved.

So that's the way I would sell it.

But if we're talking on the sales side, one of the hardest roles to fill is actually the German-speaking roles for several reasons.

So the demand is higher than the supply.

There's not so many salespeople that understand hospitality that also speak fluent German.
