Unfortunately, for people to learn the importance of that, they have to go through a few car crashes and experience that.
But this is what I'm seeing in startups.
And it's not because some managers are bad people.
It's simply because they haven't been taught that.
their CEO doesn't have the time to teach them, hey, this is how you recruit someone.
This is how you onboard someone.
This is how you manage someone.
This is how you do an appraisal.
This is how, you know, if you wanted to fire someone, these are the steps that you need to do before you get to that stage.
You know, it's not like, oh, after a week of bad work, you have the right to fire someone.
That's not how it works.
So there's a lot of things to learn there.
And
I really see an opportunity in the hospitality tech startup market to help people become better leaders and therefore save a lot of time, heartache and money.
Every client is different.
They usually come up to me and say, hey, I'm looking for this person.
They usually don't have time to find that person or don't have the network and they want to tap into mine.
And then they don't realize that I actually ask them deeper questions.
