Yeah, look, to answer your question, yeah.
I was always mega hooked to rugby since the age of six years old.
Been playing until now, thankfully.
I always wanted to become a professional rugby player, even though I was living during my childhood, not in the best rugby countries, but I was simply always around the top tier of players.
And I was given an opportunity to go to South Africa to give it a real crack.
And so I spent 11 months at the Sharks Academy over there.
It's an academy that creates world-renowned rugby players.
Went there and then ended up in Scotland playing semi-pro rugby.
How I got into business, into student house, hospitality tech jobs and all that, I guess it
I saw my father was always working for a very large company.
And I always felt like he was just treated like a number.
He was in a golden cage, very well paid.
It allowed me and my sisters to be in international schools, travel around the world, including Brazil.
So it wasn't all bad.
But after working for 25 years for the same company, he got made redundant.
And they hired lawyers to get as much out of his severance pay as much as possible, biting him.
And it caused him so much stress that it caused him to have a heart attack.
And so since that day, I told myself, I'm never, ever going to let myself be in a position like that.
