So I think it requires a lot more patience.

And just to give you one funny example, if you have a 10 bedroom student house,

If the internet doesn't work within 15 minutes, you're going to be given an email.

If you don't respond to that email within 15 minutes, you get a call from one of the tenants.

If you don't respond within the hour, you've got all the tenants and their parents calling you.

So, you know, all of a sudden you could have 20 to 30 people calling you incessantly about the internet.

The good thing about that is that it forced me to really think about systems, which got me really interested into prop tech.

And then just went on from there.

Yeah, so the idea came about was because I wanted to add

as much value as possible to the industry that I was working in, which is hospitality tech.

And I thought, okay, well, data, but data that no one's seen before.

No one really knows what someone in a certain position, certain hierarchy and department is.

should be earning or what is the average earnings depending on the geography that you're in, the product that you work for, etc.

So I thought, okay, why don't I send out a really easy to fill survey to get this data?

And my initial goal was to get 500 people to answer it, which is pretty good.

And then Danica and Zoe pushed me to aim for a thousand.

We ended up just getting over a 500 over a two to three month period.

But that was really good.

And it uncovered a lot of things that actually surprised me.

So, you know, the information that I have in this salary and sentiment benchmark report is incredible.
