It's amazing to look back and not see grandeur.
as the eight year old man but actually see him as the 20 year old man who was full of all this hopes and dreams he hadn't met his wife yet you know and you kind of think oh there there he is there's that man working hard to get his you know and and such a close link with his family and and his brother had to help him a huge amount and like it's beautiful to make him
3D, I suppose, you know, and to feel his hopes and dreams.
And you kind of go, God, it doesn't, you know, that hunger and thirst, you know, it gets passed down.
And it's amazing to see where it comes from in his handwriting.
It's beautiful.
Oh, absolutely.
It's it's something I had overheard previously and I thought it's so gross in its description in that it's like it's basically that women are like avocados.
They're nearly ready, nearly ready, nearly ready.
And then they're gone off.
And so it's like, God, we spent so long kind of maturing and then suddenly you're seen as you're old now, you know.
I think we're getting better at talking about it and we're getting better at claiming space and kind of going, OK, so I see that you've written her as a mother, but you know what, as a mother, you're allowed to still, you know, have sexual urges or be incredibly passionate about other things outside of the family.
And then bringing that to those roles, that's what's interesting and bold.
And that's what makes us raise our elbows up and make some space for ourselves, I think.
And then also with more women in production and, you know, in the financial side of it, there are more female story going through, I think.
I do think that.
I love John Prine and particularly this album.
He had been incredibly ill and he still produced this album.
You can hear history and time and age in it.
And yet it's everything to be embraced.
