And he was embraced and loved hugely.

So it was a blessing that we got to grow up with him, really.

A huge amount.

So we had presumed, because we knew that Granda had bought our house room by, so like many houses in the city, they were rented by the room.

It's just, you know, a three bedroom house, but it was, you know, as much space squished out of it as possible.

So it was rented by the room and we knew that Granda had bought it room by room and until he owned the whole house.

And so we had presumed he was there already.

And it is such a little maze of information trying to find where was Paddy McCarthy a hundred years ago because he wasn't in Quaker Road yet.

And so it's fascinating.

And yeah, it's a right up to the final day.

We couldn't find him.

Yeah.

Oh, absolutely.

I know.

I have to say that the producers were fantastic within it and the researchers were amazing because at one stage they were saying to me, Eileen, tell us about the fire and cork.

And I was like, oh, geez, was there a fire and cork?

Oh, here we go now.

My history is terrible.

Oh, my gosh.

I suppose, really, it's very easy to kind of look back, particularly on black and white photographs and a time that we don't, you know, because life moves so fast now.
