No one was noticing that there was a pattern here with these children falling suddenly ill, having these respiratory attacks and having super high insulin levels.
Like no one noticed that because it was two different teams that figured that out and they didn't communicate it.
Later that same evening, five-year-old Bradley Gibson went into cardiac arrest again a second time and history repeated itself.
Beverly Allitt sounded the alarm, rushed to his bedside and helped to resuscitate him.
Again.
And Bradley was fine.
And now that Bradley had had two attacks, Grantham Hospital just felt like they couldn't deal with this case.
Just like they couldn't deal with a lot of the cases that they were having lately.
And so they transferred Bradley to Nottingham Hospital where he recovered
pretty much instantly and never had another cardiac arrest.

He couldn't use his legs for a long, long time, and he lost control of his bladder for a number of years as well.

He could use his legs again.
He got control of his bladder.

The next suspicious case that they had was on March 22nd, and let me just put this into perspective for you.
