Beverley Allitt has only been working there for one month.

at this point, and they've had this many suspicious cases.

Just every single week, there were new children having these random respiratory attacks, unexplained cardiac arrests, and none of this had ever really happened before until Beverly Allitt joined.

But anyway, on March 22nd, two-year-old Yik Kun Chan was admitted to the hospital after he fell and fractured his skull.

He was put under the care of Nurse Beverly Allitt, and literally within a few hours of him arriving at the hospital, he stopped breathing and went blue.

Completely out of nowhere, just like all of these other children.

And so nurses rushed to his bedside, gave him oxygen, and he responded well to that.

He actually came round again.

But due to the severity of what he already had, a fractured skull, that's why he was in hospital in the first place, Grantham Hospital thought, well, fractured skull plus

cardiac arrest out of nowhere, like they could not deal with a case that severe and so they transferred Yik Hung Chan to Nottingham Hospital and there he completely recovered.

Never had another respiratory attack or cardiac arrest, just like Paul Crampton.

just like Bradley Gibson, just like a lot of the children that they transfer hospitals away from Grantham.

Nottingham Hospital just attributed this random cardiac arrest to his skull fracture.

I don't know what the correlation is, but then again, I'm not a doctor.

they just kind of thought, oh, that must be the reason, and no one ever really talked about it again.

I don't know how they keep blaming these cardiac arrests, these random respiratory attacks, on something different every single time.

Like, oh, maybe it's the chest infection, or maybe it's the skull fracture, or maybe it's this, maybe it's that.

It's like every time these children would have a severe cardiac arrest or respiratory attack,

they would just blame it on something quite irrelevant like every single time and it's like why is no one noticing this pattern?

Becky and Katie Phillips were the next two children to fall ill at Grantham Hospital.
