And when that show came out and the trailer came out, I was excoriated by that group of people.
Look at all this violence.
How can you show this?
You're glamorizing Bundy by showing all this violence.
Okay.
Note to self.
Now I make a movie called Extremely Wicked in which it has very little violence.
The whole point of the movie is you don't see any act of killing.
It's referenced at the trial, but even that's late in the movie.
But the only point
The only real killing that you see is when Lily has that final meeting.
I keep saying Lily.
When Lily Collins' character has that final meeting with Ted Bundy on death row, where she needs to hear him say the words to make her really understand that, oh my God, I've been gaslit all this time.
Intellectually knows, but she needs to know emotionally.
And that's when we have that flashback of images.
And there's just, you know, it's just,
It's a very PG film on a certain level.
And when that film came out and the trailer came out, you know, remember I was excoriated by the glamorization crowd for too much violence.
Now, when Extremely Wicked trailer drops six months later, I'm excoriated because I'm showing too little violence.
