Another story, but I was actually contemplating the Bundy tapes shows.
The author of a book called Ted Bundy Conversations with a Killer that came out in 1989 had gone to death row shortly before Bundy was executed and gave these interviews that are the source of the documentary.
And that was in 1989 the book came out.
The interviews were like 87.
And the author reached out to me and said, hey, I'm a big fan of your work.
I found these tapes in the closet that my audio, you know, my cassette tapes that I did the interviews with.
Do you think there's anything here for a documentary?
And I said, well, let's see.
Bundy is a well-worn tire.
It's been told many times.
It's been 25 years.
I don't know.
Let me listen to the tapes.
And so I listened to the tapes and I thought they were extraordinary insight into the mind of a killer.

And the thing that I'm most well known for are my wrongful convictions cases.
