It's a positive thing.

So nobody knows more about the subject matter than me.

And yeah,

I have an idea of why this has been hard to produce and here's my concept and basically,

The script relies on you not knowing it's Ted Bundy until the very end of the movie, in the original script.

And to me, I said to Michael, I said, that's great for a reading experience, but in this world, there's no way you can cast somebody, make a movie, and have people hold the secret that this guy who's seemingly being wrongfully accused of these crimes is actually, if you don't, being Ted Bundy,

Holding that until the end of the movie, I think it's just not going to work as a movie.

But if we lean into the fact that it's Ted Bundy, and this script was by Michael Ward, by the way, and did a brilliant job.

So I'm not saying we did a massive rewrite.

We just did some tweaks and really lean in.

The audience knows all along that it's Ted Bundy, you know?

Mm-hmm.

And we're seeing things from the perspective of the girlfriend who in real life, he got he I mean, it all happened.

He lived with this woman, Elizabeth Kendall.

Elizabeth Kendall had a daughter from another relationship who revered Ted.
