I think we all are.
I mean, I think the reason why it's set off just the last two weeks, set kind of people off on both sides of the aisle is because there's this inherent fight about free speech and a lot of people feeling like it's okay if my team uses free speech, but I don't want your team using free speech.
And I think, you know, given that it's in the Constitution, it hits really fundamental democratic issues.
And I think the fear is that if they can do it to, you know, a big Hollywood actor, then what kind of influence are they having over companies that are much lower profile?
What kind of influence are they having over, you know, not as big a celebrity?
And so I think it just hits home for a lot of people.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
If they can if they can get them with a couple of phone calls to get these guys off the air, what happens to the rest of us?
You know, a Michigan company that dares to say that tariffs are bad.
right, that dares to criticize the president that agriculture is falling apart and they're not able to farm anymore.
It just sends a cooling shiver down everyone's spine because these companies are so high profile.
And if they can't push back, then how can some small fry company do it?
Yes, I've been shown them by my team.
Well, I think certainly the courts are the recourse.
I mean, that in our system, if someone is impinging on your First Amendment rights, then you do have the right to go up the chain.
And I would hope that the Supreme Court, since it's literally written into the Constitution, would protect speech.
But the reason why this is so much more complicated is because it wasn't like the FCC pulled the plug on the show.
They called the company and said, you please pull the plug.
And they did it.
And at least temporarily.
