He's like, I'll tell you one thing, though.
I don't like this yo-yo shit on tariffs.
And every single person in Michigan understands the uncertainty that comes with these crazy policies, on again, off again, no certainty.
Yeah, nobody is missing that.
What can sometimes be missing is people, again, calling balls and strikes on what's really happening.
And that I think is part of the fear factor.
The Chamber of Commerce, the chambers of commerce across my state, manufacturing business leaders, union leaders, everybody knows, right?
I mean, you know, we have a bunch of, we're a big beer making state.
Try making aluminum cans for your beer when there's massive tariffs on aluminum.
I mean, it is affecting everybody.
And then the farmers, I had the corn growers in here yesterday saying like,
we're getting to the point where we're going to need some sort of bailout.
Billions of dollars in checks to farmers because they have been retaliated against because of these tariffs.
So it's the same thing that happened in the first Trump administration.
So everybody knows some people think he has a grand plan.
Right.
Well, that's the thing.
But this is, the farmers are going to have to- Yeah, and they'll tell you, I will tell you, in the first Trump administration, because of his tariffs, $28 billion in checks went out to farmers because they were about to go under, right?
Because of Trump's tariffs policy.
