That's what we want in our leadership.
And Democrats over the years have lost a lot of Midwestern representation, a lot of that like alpha culture.
And I think that's a real problem if you intend to win in places like Michigan.
Right.
I think it's but I think people want to look for like they want to know that someone is thinking and has a plan and is going to execute and is going to call you out when you do something wrong and then hug you when you do something right.
Well, look, as someone who has done a lot of debates in my time, like don't call someone right before a debate.
They're getting their head in the game.
I mean, if we're going to talk about sports, let's talk about like the 30 minutes before the game.
Like you're not dealing with some sort of problem at home.
You are in the zone.
Right.
So I can understand getting a call and president calls you pick up.
Right.
But.
You know, I look, I don't know anything about that incident, but I will just tell you, we need like, we need some tough skin.
And this is a tough business.
And we can't just kind of cry and whine when things go badly.
You got to organize and come up with a plan.
And again, coming from the Pentagon and the CIA, like if you were presented with a problem, a tough problem, and you just kind of complained about it, you'd be fired.
I think that when you're president of the United States and you've been trying to get there your whole life and people around you are telling you, like, stay in it, keep going, you're the only one who can do this, it's hard to turn away from that.
