And that's been the joy for me of writing is that, and when I look around at people, I'm not that judgmental.
I mean, like I am a little bit, but I'm just saying, I think it was just freeing to realize, oh, let it go.
We don't have to be that judgmental.
People are just people.
They're just trying, most of them.
Most of us are just trying to be the best we can and get through life.
They read the first work and my mother lived for longer and she read the other.
She always liked my work.
Yeah, I don't think she ever mentioned that.
She would just call me up.
It would take her about seven hours to read every book.
And she'd say, well, this one's better than the last one.
And I would be so happy.
And she would also say, I just howled my way through.
She has a sense of humor, apparently, that she would pick up on my humor.
And otherwise, we never really discussed them.
But I remember somebody saying to her, aren't you proud of your daughter?
