And if it is, again, getting in the way, then we'll work on trying to either, you know, even if the surface behavior remains the same,
trying to change the current underneath it that's driving it.
So to be kind and considerate or helpful because we want to be kind and considerate and helpful, not because we're trying to manipulate our boss into liking us.
Yeah, absolutely.
I think we, okay, so generally we have two levers we can pull.
There's the change lever, where we try to change what we're doing or thinking.
And then there's the acceptance lever, where we try to make room for whatever it is that is possible.
happening at the time.
So with the change lever, we can really try to lean into what we can control.
I like to call those certainty anchors, and we can build certainty into our routine.
So that could be work related.
Maybe we set a date to update our resume once a month.
Maybe we meet with an affinity group regularly, or it can be personal certainty.
We just know we're gonna walk our dog every morning.
But regardless, that certainty can help anchor us in a storm of uncertainty.
And then talk about the acceptance lever.
So acceptance is different than resignation.
I think like being resigned, somebody's like, oh, I guess this is what's going to happen.
