And then when you look at social media and the whole idea of being an influencer, like the whole point of being an influencer is to influence.

And we have people out there who are influencing people to be commercial and be a consumer.

And I haven't been good enough.

And I know I haven't been good enough because it is a very intimidating environment to be in.

Like I should be, but I should be a better influencer to help change perception of disabilities and to show people what is possible.

So I've kind of since retirement tried to step into that.

Now it can be very exhausting.

So I dip in and I dip out, but I am trying harder because...

The only reason why I was able to think that I'm going to be OK is because I got the privilege of spending time with Lauren.

And not a lot of people are going to have the opportunity to spend time with people who look like them.

But because of social media, you can see them on social media.

Oh my god, like the reason I wanted to do it is because I did do like I did hip hop, not like proper dancing like ballroom and Latin when I was a kid and I just love music I love dancing, I love moving my body and it's also an opportunity for me to show people what my disabled body can do.

So when the opportunity came around I was like

Let's go.

It's actually like the day I won my gold medal, I got a phone call from my agent and was like, they just signed for the next season because of COVID.

Dancing With The Stars wasn't on in 2020.

So then it came back in 20, no, it was 2021 and it came back in 2022 and they were like, they just got the go ahead.
