It was like someone got a picture made up for me.
It wasn't a picture of me, it was a picture for him that had his date of birth and stuff on it.
And the butterfly landed on that picture and I was like, oh, it's weird.
but it never moved again like it died like never moved it's bizarre so kind of got a bad feeling like you know and like sent her out the video and stuff and rang her and she's like Jesus that's amazing like you know and the butterflies are these kind of red and black ones

But they were the butterflies that were always around, always flying around Charlotte, always landing on the kids.

The consultants wanted to meet us and like, you know, get ready to discharge him.
And as far as we knew, he had Guillain-Barre, he was getting better, ready to go home.
it was weird like I went in and Charlotte's like I'm just going to run out for coffee and the nurse has stopped her the nurse says where are you going she's like I'm just going to get coffee they're like alright can you hurry up basically come back we need thought she's like so we're like okay so we came back and then we're like what's going on it's like a minute like look we're after getting these genetic tests back or results back and unfortunately it's like it's SMA type 1 we're like
what like you know like it's guillain-barre like you know so such um like we they said their sma was one of the one of the conditions that they'd mentioned that it could be like and we did google it like and it is the death sentence as far as i was concerned like you know
It's when... So type 1 is... We have these genes called SMN1, SMN2.
