Essentially, they'd done these bloods and they came back and they said the AAV9 in Ree's blood system is too high.

Okay.

So if they were to give him the treatment, his body would fight it, basically.

So he couldn't get Saul Gensman in for like a few months.

And it turned out the IVIG he got for Gillian Vera has this AAV9 or whatever.

And that's the reason.

Yeah.

So if he didn't get that, you know, he would have been able to get Saul Gensman.

I know I'm not even going to call it misdiagnosed because like everything made sense like and like it's not like I'm sitting back in ignorance listening to everything the doctor says like I'm researching I'm googling I'm questioning them like I like and everything made sense that this is what he had like you know I know

Yeah, so he couldn't get salgensma for essentially months, but he could get the spinraza, which is the injection into the spine.

Yeah.

And that would keep him going until he could get salgensma.

So...

Yeah, we went home again.

Like, I suppose, like, we were home and all, but at the time, I think we got these blood results back, like, just to say, like, you know, like, they took the blood and stuff on the day.

He's a couple of months now.

Yeah, like, I suppose, realistically, he was in hospital more than he was at home.

Like, or maybe 50-50, but for the first few months, yeah, like, we were in hospital a lot.
