I would be a hypocrite if I said that everyone else doesn't have the right to do it.
I think after watching, like there was one manager I spoke to after that Marchenko press conference that Mark Shagg put on Twitter.
And he said that there's a feeling around the NHL that among the teams that the pendulum has swung so far the other way that the teams have to get some control back.
And I said, well, how are you going to do that?
And they said, well, you know, you got to hold strong.
And I said, that's easy to say when it's not your team.
Like, that's what happens.
Like a lot of guys say, oh, this other guy has to hold strong.
And then when it comes to them, they're like, well, I had to.
It's my best player.
Like, it's
works.
Yeah.
But I do think that, you know, when you look at the Larkin situation, and again, like I know Larkin took a lot of heat for that press conference last week.
But like I said, he was sitting there saying, I am not throwing any more gasoline on the fire.
And I understood why he did it.
But between Larkin and Hellebuck and now this one with Marchenko, I think there are people saying here,
that the teams feel that they have to regain control.
Now, it's hard when you're the one going through that maelstrom, and it's hard when that's going around, when that gong show is going on around your team.
