Those plot devices.
When was that in Twilight?
Oh, I was like, wait, they really fell in love.
Oh, in the movie.
In the movie where they have that, it's a vision.
Yeah.
Yeah, that did work as shock factor.
Yeah, and they weren't actually going to fight, otherwise it would have been so boring.
Okay.
Okay.
I'll give that one a pass.
You're so right.
So when it came down to Lost, they had this two-part finale that was super long and it was like one of the biggest things in the world.
And then it ended with, so the main character, Jack, played by Matthew Fox, which is, again, a really big deal because he'd been on Party of Five and he came back in this kind of like roguish doctor kind of thing.
It ended, and this is quite clever, it ended with the, so the opening of Lost is Jack opening his eyes on the island and like kind of seeing the light.
All of a sudden it's like he kind of clocks like chaos around him, playing on fire, people screaming.
And then the last scene,
shot of his character on Lost was like him closing his eyes and then so the creators have they came out like 10 years later and they were like it was never they were all dead all the time but that is confusing because it's actually not you know how like there's a jump forward and a jump back like a time jump and they had a few of those this was a jump sideways yeah
Yeah.
What do you mean?
