It was supposed to be a um mental hospital and ended up for a moment being a um just a hospital, an army hospital for World War Two because they just needed it.

And then they ended up switching it back to the school that they originally intended.

Um, it was the only home in the area for people with intellectual or developmental delays.

And at one point it truly was, I did not know this.

At at the time that it was built, it was the biggest and best facility in the world for you to send your loved ones that had delays.
