Why does it not supervene on several different slices or on some kind of blurring across the slices?

Uh and I think the answer is is for me closely linked to the the

Agential nature of of of consciousness.

And I think that the fictional examples are helpful because if you sort of think about, if you try to imagine a fictional life scenario in which you are sort of conscious of your your whole life in some sense, I think what you can sort of see imagining that is that the more knowledge you have, the more you become conscious of your whole life, the less you are an agent, the less you can be really be deliberating and acting and making choices.

So I so I think for me there has to be some kind of quite tight.

I mean the d you you wanted to know my my view on the hard problem of consciousness.

It I this is not a very well formed view, but I think all of these these things are connected that, you know, to to understand consciousness and why it is the way it is, that needs to be linked to

time and our experience of time and and our nature as agents.

I think those things are closely tied together and you're not going to fully understand what consciousness is uh until you understand the way it's linked to our our nature as agents and the way that shapes our temporal experience.

You're right, I don't really believe in free will.

Uh, I don't believe in free will in the strong sense.

I don't believe that there is uh a self outside the physical world that is somehow able to reach in and choose in a way that's unconstrained by physical considerations.

I believe I do I'm sort of willing happy to accept that there's some kind of c compatibilist form of free will such that uh, you know, if your decisions are mediated through appropriate causal pathways in your brain, we can call that free will.

So I think at a compatibilist level, for sure I can do that.

Uh if I try to say what this the sort of strong concept of free will is supposed to be, no I can't do that.
