So just wanted to tee that up for council as well that I think there's some other avenues beyond just this one position, this one day.

Thank you, City Manager McCarthy, Council Member McAllister.

I will not oppose, I will not support this motion.

The reason being is if push came to shove and they hear the constitutional amendment, I think there's gonna be more room for compromise that people are willing to go,

Let's not go down that path.

Let's get some compromises then.

And so carrying the big stick might motivate others to come along and say, okay, let's find a solution.

And so that's why I would rather keep that in there.

Hopefully it goes down.

To Pat's comment about talking with our local legislators who've been talking for two years, I haven't seen too much movement on the builder's remedy and some other things.

So maybe that's a little slow process.

So that's just something to think about.
