I will also like to add in, I do find, quite honestly, Council Member Comey is one of the most sophisticated council members in our region.
I think she,
she will be able to maneuver based on the direction that we will give for the voting, unless something goes wrong and somehow I'm magically there too.
Not as sophisticated, but with good direction can work wonders.
So I'm glad that we're taking the major concerns that my colleagues had had about the staff recommendation.
and finding something that fits what we all want, because we're such a council.

I was going to move on to another component of this agenda item.

Council Member Ramirez said, and if other people want to comment on that, I guess they can do it after I talk.
So what I wanted to bring up about this item was the scope of the Parks and Rec Commission work plan.
public's been concerned about a bunch of aspects of tree planting in the city over the past several years, including total amount of canopy, rollout of the new biodiversity and urban forestry plan, recent loss of city trees, and how the active transportation plan can include substantial tree planting,
