whether how staff might recommend that we make sure those things are done well so that we don't just have a thick stack of plans that we don't implement and review.
And staff proposed the following additions to the PRC work plan, I'm just reading them, that the PRC review and provide input
public works projects related to trees and biodiversity, also on relevant biodiversity and urban forestry plan action items such as landscaping standards, guidelines, and heritage tree ordinance updates, on relevant parks and rec strategic plan action plan items such as the review of the recreation finance assistance program,
and on standard detail updates related to sidewalk and landscaping strips and green stormwater infrastructure.
So that was staff's recommendation addressing what has been a lot of community concern and we've received letters on and I'm hoping we can just add it to the motion as staff
Oh, I didn't know that.
Right here.
Thank you.
Thank you, Council Member Hicks.
Council Member Showalter.
Thank you, Council Member Showalter.
I'll just mention very briefly, I don't have any prescriptive changes, although I'm supportive of all the prescriptive changes that my colleagues have brought forth.
But I do want to kind of highlight that this is a big volunteer commitment that our community members have done, and I want to make sure that they are doing the things that they want to do.
that they aren't limited to the work that they can provide to our city, to their community.
I don't know if this is something that the, as we look at our volunteer framework, I view them as volunteers, so I feel like it should be covered under that kind of framework, the things that they want us to do.
And they want to be helpful to our city.
So I really hope that we find ways to make that happen.
So Council Member Ramirez.
All right, are we ready to vote?
Oh, and that was a motion made by Council Member Ramirez and seconded by Council Member Showalter, and it passes unanimously.
