Among the repairs that we provided were smaller but potentially
material and smoke detectors, grab bars.
Others received repairs for leaks, fences and fences and floors, gutters, and others got plumbing improvements and lighting, and one person even received a working stove.
Given that we live in the most expensive area to provide construction almost in the world, it's no wonder that many of our homeowners indicated that we would otherwise be completely out of reach, and many of them have indicated the impact is significant.
Over 70% said that they claim that they feel safer as a result of the work.
Almost 80% indicated that they feel more confident they can age in place.
80% reported that they have mental health issues.
and that many actually indicated they're most likely to invite people over, and you know that one of the social determinants of health is isolation.
So while we're very proud of the work that we've performed and grateful to the city for your acknowledgement of the need, we recognize that we need to up our game in terms of our outreach.
