Like there's challenges as well if you've got a low base and you're trying to get a home loan and things like that.
But no, I found this a bit of a curious question and I, you know, I just wonder about this idea of getting feelings mixed up with like more objective.
Yeah, I feel underpaid.
Or I don't want to come across ungrateful.
And I just kind of found myself thinking, okay, maybe we actually need to untangle this belief that Meg is,
might have, seems to have, if I can jump there, that because you get a yearly bonus, like you're indebted to that employer, like that employer is doing you some big grand favor by giving you a bonus.
And I'd hope that there's a bonus policy that just like gives you a sense of like, what do you got to do to get your bonus?
Sometimes they're more discretionary, but
Yeah, the moving of the goalposts for sure.
But look, I think, Meg, if I could say let's just try and remove this sense of like being ungrateful because you're looking for an increase on your base.
And you get bonuses.
Yeah.
And this business has chosen to implement bonuses and that's awesome.
And maybe one year you get nothing and the next year you get something huge.
Who knows?
Maybe it's pretty consistent every year, but there's a collective remuneration conversation to be had.
Like, let's not forget about that.
That would be a frustration for me if an employee just totally tried to ignore the fact that there's a bonus structure in place.
I do think though that there is
