And cause like, you don't want to be exposed as like, yeah.

Oh, definitely.

It gets worse with each book too.

How does it get worse?

Well, because you know, we've all had artists and albums and movies or, you know, where we're like,

you know, oh, I liked her old stuff.

Or, you know, I loved The Sixth Sense, but I didn't really love his other movies.

You know, that kind of thing.

Yeah, yeah.

I mean, I preferred The Sixth Sense.

And so my goal with every book is it's not, you know, you can't just keep writing a book that everyone loves more than the one before it.

But I want every book to have a following of people who say, this is actually my favorite of hers.

which, you know, I mean, Taylor Swift has that, right?

Like with each album, it's like there's a certain group of people that are like, no, this is my favorite.

No, that's my favorite.

So that's kind of what drives me.

But it's also that feeling of like, what if this book isn't going to be anyone's favorite?

But that's what makes me like dig down deep and like get to the next level with the characters and try to write something that's not –

you know the the old version of chick lit where it was like shoe shopping and drinking a cosmopolitan and you know and those books are great too those are great they're not inter they're not interesting to me and compelling to me so i always want to like push myself to write more interesting characters
