the novelists are just like so thrilled with what they're doing and it's still work yeah you still have to like you do work once you get into the flow i'm sure you know about the flow you've experienced the flow everyone does when you get into the flow it's it's great but you can you're going to have writer's block which is just a fancy way of saying you don't want to do the work

Um, so I think you should do it.

This is going to be the Genesis.

Well, I mean, you have a deadline.

And it's one of those jobs, unlike y'all, where you have constant things and content.

Mine is like I publish an even year, so every two years.

I used to do, I did bam, bam, bam, bam, like seven years in a row.

And then I realized I was working more hours than I did as a lawyer.

And so I'm like, let's change this up.

So now it's every other.

So I really can, you can kind of coast and do your own thing.

But then it catches up to you because then your editor's like, okay, can I read the first half of the book?

And you're like, oh, shit.

So you have to just, you know, you have to make yourself do things.

Part of being an adult, I'm also like a type A person.

personality.

I come across, I'm a type A introvert, but people always think like I'm a type B because I'm sort of surface messy.

And I fake, like I'm a socially adept introvert, so I can fake it.

But yeah, I mean, that inner, like, oh my gosh, I think it's more of a fear of failure than a chasing success.

Makes you study and work hard.
