So I nailed it.

I mean, I have found that it's,

I try not to look back because I think you learn so much from missteps and, you know, the failed relationships and the job that you hated.

And I think that you learned like so much about yourself from those things.

And then you end up on a path that you wouldn't have otherwise ended up on.

And so I think even though I have my characters think about it a lot, for me personally, I try not to do that, but I would say,

I do not regret going to law school.

And I would do a plug for your daughter here in case you're on the fence about whether it's worth it.

You, you have such credibility once you get your law degree and you use it all the time.

And there are so many, you know, jobs other than just practicing law, certainly at a big firm that you can do and so much good you can do in the world with a, with a law degree.

So I would, I would say if she's interested in that and get,

you know gets into a school she likes and um go for it uh but yeah of course you know you there was nights you're like oh i wish i didn't have that much to drink or man i shouldn't have bothered well i shouldn't have wasted my time with that guy um but in general i i don't feel that that's particularly helpful it's like your mistakes make you who you are absolutely

Well, I mean, first of all, I think what makes a good beach read is simply that it's so absorbing that you'd rather be doing that than like playing in the, you know, swimming or doing anything else like you're absorbed in it.

So you're not going to slog your way through a literary, you know, dense literary masterpiece on the beach, right?

It has to like suck you into the story and be like a page turner.

That's, I think, you know, what I try to write is relationship driven books that ask the question, like, you know, good people do shitty things, and they make mistakes.

And, you know, we're all works in progress.

And so to put, I like to put my reader in this situation of, oh, my gosh, you know, the first book, which has been 22 years, if you haven't read it,
