And I feel like, you know, based on following your account and, like, loving what you do, I could guess what you might do in a certain situation.

But as I get to know you more, then I realize, like, oh, no, Kim actually wouldn't do that.

She would, you know, that's her online facade, but she would actually, you know, break down and cry in this moment.

And so it's sort of like that.

As I get to know my characters because I'm putting them in scenes with other people and watching them interact,

what they might do changes.

And so it kind of evolves like that.

And it's very, it's, I've written 13, well, 14, including the one that wasn't published, but this is the 13th published novel.

And I would say almost, maybe just once or twice, it's ended in the place that I think it's going to end.

Because it's so character driven.

But here's what I would say.

There's only so many plots in the world and someone could write a book with my identical plot, but it's going to feel very different because your voice is different.

In fact, there was a lawsuit of J.K.

Rowling sued someone because they wrote a book about an orphan magician who went to magic school.

And the court said, you don't own orphan wizards who go to magic school.

You have the plot.

I have the plot.

You know, I have a beautifully decorated office upstairs, but I have found maybe this will change when my daughter goes to college in the fall.

But I find that like you want to be in the kitchen.

You want to be in the action.
