If Andy McBurnham becomes the prime minister next week, next month, three months, six months, I don't know.
The problems are the same.
I mean, the problems are the size of the cake, how you divvy it up, how you grow the economy.
What does growth look like?
What are you going to do?
What are you going to do about tax and spend?
Those problems do not go away.
Just because Andy Burnham comes in as prime minister, he may be able to communicate it much better.
He will manage relationships with the Parliamentary Labour Party probably much better.
He will manage the cabinet probably much better because you can't do much worse than what Keir Starmer is doing at the moment.
But the problems remain the same.
And we just on so many fronts.
Because Andy Burnham has been running a by-election campaign and not a prime ministerial campaign, he's talking about maker field issues.
In very short order, he's going to start having to talk about the big macro issues facing Britain.
Well, I've just been contacted by someone who's got very, very good contacts with the MOD who says Dan Jarvis.
Yeah, that makes sense.
Will be the next defence.
Yeah.
And so that he will be the person.
And that's coming from someone, you know, right in the heart of defence land.
