I don't think we ask fathers to carry the weight of everyone's experiences.

So there – so Jessie and I were talking about this on the weekend.

There's a birthday party that we really want to go to, a little four-year-old's birthday party, and we were tossing up like, oh, maybe it's too hard, blah, blah, and we're like –

No, no, we get to call the shots.

We think that birthday party will slap.

And so we will be going to the birthday party, and then we'll be going to my mum's house, and then I think we'll do brunch with my mother-in-law.

But I'm like, it can be inclusive.

I don't understand the idea of cutting anyone out.

The one thing I will say, with the wisdom of it being my third Mother's Day, obviously now I'm a very experienced mother, is

ask for what you want because the last two years, Rory tries to be sentimental.

And I'm like, that's lovely.
