I had no clue about any of that.
So what did I do?
I went on a hiring rampage.
I started pulling in people who were experts in the areas the business needed to thrive.
People who had done it before.
People who had been successful at competitive companies who could help me do it all again.
I stopped trying to do everything myself and I invested in people who could solve the problems that I couldn't.
That's what I mean when I say you can't afford not to invest in people.
I know what I'm bad at and
And I know I'm going to go and get the right people who are great at it.
And I also want to say this, and I mean it, I am not self-made.
I chafe when business people are described that way.
