It's certainly been a...
a winning start.
I don't know if it's the first win he's had at this stadium, but it very much felt like that.
well i mean look at it i mean it's certainly interesting and they've got points on the board going into those games it's not like they're going to manchester city or home to city worrying about their position there they're fourth in the league and and for them i think you you think they're difficult games which they are but they can go in with a lot of confidence because this team that's their fourth clean sheet i know it isn't because they conceded that's a nice rookie error
But defensively, they're solid.
You did better than I am tonight, Emma.
Well, you're rubbing off on me.
But no, I mean, it's certainly a team that are improving.
And Gary Cahill, like Clinton said, is a big reason for that.
Well, I think it's the expectation now of this West Ham team.
We talked earlier on about...
The atmosphere inside the stadium, this is a side that are expecting to win more games.
You've got to go away at Everton, which if you look at that on paper, you'd say West Ham are favourites to do that.
And I think that's probably the first time in a number of years that West Ham have been in that position.
So you have to live with that.
much like today's game the fans are coming into the stadium they expect to win this game based off of a previous record and they haven't quite fulfilled that so that's i always think that's a jump managing that expectation so everton is such an important uh game for west ham because i do believe they create chances this is the best team they've had here since slaven village and um not to be too worried about the outcome today
You can have all the best intentions in training after the Bayern Munich game, but after two minutes you lose your goalkeeper to a dislocated elbow, plus it's your captain and you've conceded another cheap goal.
It's going to put question marks in the players' minds and you can see that with Tottenham.
All of a sudden there's a fragility that wasn't there last year.
Yes, they had a number of defeats, but defensively they are so poor.
