And if you refuse, that's actually a different violation.
And that one is potentially a misdemeanor, which could come with a bigger fine and maybe even some jail time.
But according to Park, it's just really rare that enforcement of this law ever gets to that point.
Her spokesperson says that most people comply.
But for some in L.A., even a ticket is too harsh.
These anti-camping zones actually came up at a recent city council meeting, and one of Park's colleagues wanted to repeal about a dozen of them in his district.
