So would a way to correct that be to have some kind of public register or flush that information out and make it transparent?
Now, as you know, overnight, there's been a lot of developments in the US, particularly around Netflix.
So we're going to look at that and other market developments now with Kathleen Brooks from XTB.
Would that help things?
Good morning, Kathleen.
Good morning.
Great to have you.
Let's start with that Netflix deal.
$83 billion deal to take over Warner, giving them a good share of the streaming market.
But we are also hearing overnight that Donald Trump says he wants to look at this deal, says it'll give them a very big market share.
So this is certainly doesn't look like a home run at this particular point.
Right.
Fascinating.
I mean, a lot of this stuff is economic, but then it kind of merges into the social.
I know Northern Ireland traditionally has had difficulties with early school leaving and non-active participation in the labour market.
So those two seem to be still in the mix.
There hasn't been much closing of that gap that I understand.
So why do you think we have this market the way it is?
In other words, who's blocking or putting obstacles in the way of greater transparency?
Or is it just nobody is bothered to do it?
