And we were like, we lived it.
I mean, we really enjoyed it.
I mean, why not?
I sort of I think about back then, I think, God, I mean, it was it was I mean, we were it was pretty we got into
some absolute scrapes but we never did anything really illegal like really illegal but it was sort of like it was super super fun and the and the play was like you know like i don't know it's just like it completely took off and it was largely i mean it was a play was strong and the central performances were or the two performances were amazing but pat kiernan's production was just like absolute stunning and to see pat's
Pat's work against sort of other sort of festivals, sort of like World Theatre.
And I'm thinking, all right, it's yeah, it's it's up there.
It's sort of like it's good.
Oh, listen, they found it so exotic, you know, and there's so many references to that period, you know, that even now I like sort of like a laugh and I go, oh, my God, it talks about Sonia O'Sullivan and, you know, like Roy Keane and, you know, like all these sort of like they end up in a sort of like, you know, a Sinn Féin pub and, you know, like off Barrack Street.
